Martín was born in Ecuador where he lived until age 6. He then moved to Chile with his family and lived for most of his years in a little Southern town called Pucón. There Martín discovered his passion for Snowboarding and Cinematography. At age 16, Seidlitz relocated to San Diego in order to finish High School and pursue Filmmaking as a career. During his childhood he attended Spanish, English and German speaking schools, allowing him to become fluent in the three languages.
He enrolled into Brooks Institute in September of 2013 in the Film program and graduated with honors in April of 2016. He interned for Stray Angel Films as a prep tech during his last semester at Brooks helping the sub-rental coordinator. Martín got promoted to full time prep tech one month after his graduation and still continued to freelance as 1st AC, DP or Camera operator on his days off.
